Demi short for Demetra, is the young mom cat, under a year old herself. She showed up in my yard, had a collar on and was very friendly so she must have been part of a human family once. She had 4 kits in tow that she was teaching, protecting, nursing and hunting to feed. What a great and loving mom, but she was so thin, and when I offered food and shelter she gratefully accepted and hasn't tried to get out once.

She has a gentle temperament, is very responsive, will always come up to great you when you enter the room, often saying hello vocally. She loves to be petted and obviously wants a loving home of her own.

Demi has a lithe body, long legs, She is soft gray with pure white bib and boots. She really communicates with her expressive jade green eyes.

She was born around 2/1/2006 . She tested negative for feline AIDS and leukemia, has had a rabies vaccination, has been dewormed, and spayed. She is not declawed and I hope she never will be. She's litter trained of course.

She is friendly to cats and really enjoys human attention. I wish I had more time to spend with with this smart, gentle and loving cat who clearly wants and deserves a human and home of her own.
