Merlin is outgoing, loving, playful and very smart. He will be the first to come up and greet you when you enter a room. If you sit on the floor he'll play on your legs or sit by you to be petted with his brother Buddy. He and Buddy would be a fine pair to adopt together as they would keep each other company and be lifelong friends.

He is lovely to look at with his dark and white furs. The dark is tinged with buff making a delightful texture, with a jet black stripe running from his forehead through his tail.

He loves to pounce on the ribbon I move, or play hide and seek with a little stick or wrestle with his litter mates, or jump on the tepee, yes he's a playboy. But beware of a feather, he will take it and run softly growling to warn off others. In the past he had eaten birds and feathers are a reminder of the real thing.

He was born around Aug.23, 2006 has been nursed by his mother so he's got that good immunity. He tested negative for feline AIDS and leukemia, has had a distemper vaccination, and been dewormed . He's litter trained of course. He is too young to be neutered, he should be after he reaches maturity. I have a spay certificate that can get a reduced rate. He is not declawed and I hope he never will be.

He was raised with his mother and three siblings and I have spent time with him so he's comfortable around both other cats and people. He has been eating a good diet of canned Pet Guard organic chicken. He is now a strictly indoor cat and is also used to being groomed.

Merlin is a special being , and I consider his new guardian person to be lucky to share life with such a fine cat.
